I knew it was you behind this the moment I saw the art style. I heil this hard!
I usually hate the Engrish and lulzpeak stuff, but this one pulled it out splendidly. Animation does indeed lack effort, but I say the comedy pays it off. It's a shame that the dark humor doesnt always warm the younger/dumber audience.
SUM PPL DONT LIKE WARM IT MAKES THEM SWEAR AND ANGREY
I haven't seen anything so utterly pointless for so long time, well played.
-I'd like to see some REAL martial arts in atleast one stickfight animation. No offence, I'm just not into naruto or dragon's balls.
-You can handle animation pretty well, god job for that.
-I think you creatively picked the right song that fits well. Good effort on that one.
-That scarf seems to make the propagonist twice as stronger, is it dipped in steroids before each round?
I love real martial arts, and I'm an advocate of them. I was shooting for a more "over the top" style of combat with these combos. Obviously comparative to what you see in DBZ or Naruto, or other fighting style animes/games. I wouldn't mind animating something more realistic, but you know, I find the fun in animating cartoons and stick figures, is to explore what is not possible, and what is "over the top" and see how extreme you can make it. There are so many "animation realists" out there who totally discredit the work of people who truly explore the field. It's mind numbing, ugh.
This should be A-rated, because bold humor like this is too hard for these kids below to comprehend. It would've made this look very weak if you would've made it perfectly clear it's a joke, but no and for good. It's kind of up to audience to decide either your joking or not, which makes this spectacular crapito quite funny.
Love is indeed cool, but this flash is not.
Audio choise gets 4 stars.
It's not the best or the worst.
It has few gliches that annoys a little bit.
We all know the good old "comedy pause", someone stabs with a freezing joke and everyone just gets quiet. Following with quiet slideshows, eye blinks, cakes and surprisingly not cookies too. Also a sudden violent ambush on top of that, trying to make it feel random, but it just quite doesn't. If you wan't to make some "random comedy" then think up something random that audience would never guess. Don't copy the basics.
I'm glad there are subtitles, because I can't hear a slightest shit what theyre talking about. I guess there's no point of expecting anything from visuals since you made it very clear it's one of your first projects. In both description and the actual appreance.
Regardless the horriple prattle above I think it's pretty precent nobad/nogood stuff. I managed to watch it till the end, which I hardly do.
Keep up the good work!
Well... my comedy would be classified as both funny yet stupid at the same time. I try to get jokes in as to what makes me laugh (which really doesn't take a lot.) Although the fact that there wasn't much movement was bad, just note that I worked on this during my free time during my 3-D animation class (which really wasn't a lot...)
First of all, voice acting is not only bad, it sounds like the mic is in someone's mouth and it's too quiet at some parts. It's barely recognizable among the rest of the ambience. I think I'd get similiar results if I'd just ask someone in msn to speak these words to the microphone.
Visuals are fankly said horriple, its a combination of smeared jpeg images, plain pixels and some parts which has more details. It's not bad to have some details, but if one part has details it looks stupid to have some parts which doesn't have. I'm not entirely sure whats so disturbing about the visuals. Maybe instead of a ragdoll girl stuffed with details and colors you should've made it frame by frame with simplier graphics. (It looks better despite the lack of details).
Ofcourse backgrounds are good with details, it makes the whole thing look alive and overally better, I would've left out that 3D larking. Just a fine piece of artwork with "walk-behind" layers would've been enough. If it looks too plain to watch a background that doesn't move then make it move.. Either zoom or move to any directionl. It surprisingly looks good. 80% of all anime made so far would be merely slide shows if the screen would hold still.
It's not professional work, which is why you get 2 stars for mercy.
1 Star for the hilarious ninja running. And another 1 for the effort I believe
you occured with.
No, I shouldn't have made it frame by frame. I prefer the way I did it "without" simpler graphics, there's plenty of simpler graphics animations here, and other places on the net.
They do pretty well but I'm not set out to do anything similar. I'm only doing my own thing. I suppose you either like it or you don't. I thought the voice was fine imo.
What suggestions there are for improvements here, I will note them.
He must be quite a cool guy when tonques freeze like that
Well, first of all.. Big points for your effort and story line. That must've taken
alot time and voice acting is damn smooth and fitting!
Animation is charming even though it frankly said looks quite hastily made in some parts.
One thing that sort of stands out is the way the camera keeps hiding certain actions, like for example when the lucy girl took her arm off I thought for a second she was jerking off or something.. Same goes for the part where the evil papa died. I know it was supposed to look like she's laying on his chest when hes lying in the bed, but because he and she was never actually in same screen it looks very distant and it's hard to connect.
At one part when she was trying to wake him up it even looked like she was riding him.. No offence, really.. that's what I can come up with my perverted mind.
Otherwice than that, pretty damn good work!
Hoping to see more! ~4/5 8/10
